For children, teens and young adults
Brisbane, Australia
About me
My name is Tessa (she/her), and I am a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP). I have been practicing for almost 15 years. I graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Hons) in 2009. I am also a Mum to the very cute and wonderful Tilly! I like music, learning Spanish, yoga, and running. As a Speech Pathologist I have supported children, teenagers, young people, and adults across different settings, including health, mental health, and disability services.
I have worked with people with a range of neurotypes, strengths and challenges. This has included language difficulties (such as DLD), Autism, ADHD, intellectual impairment, acquired brain injury, and mental health difficulties.I love working with children and young people and seeing their confidence grow as they learn more about language and communication. I also love helping them to see how awesome they already are!
See 'How can I help' for more about why communication is important, and the skills we can work on together.
